It makes my life so much easier. 

There are so many parts of Responsive Classroom. 

I decided to focus on one of them.

Hi! I'm Beth Ann from Taming My Flock of Firsties.

Thanks to Tanja for coming up with this brilliant idea for sharing and letting us work out our addiction!! :)

I am a first grade teacher for the fifth time. I say that because I was hired at my old elementary school to take over for my 6th grade teacher for a year. Kind of weird. It gets a little stranger because everything I was suppose to teach was everything she taught me. I even found some of my stuff. :)

Then we moved, had a few kids, got my masters, and tried to get back into teaching. I was hired as a 2nd grade teacher (I interviewed for a Reading Specialist). After two years I was bumped down into 1st grade. Another three years and I was promoted to 4th. (I thought they thought I was smarter that 1st grade :)) I finally got to make my own decision after two years in 4th. I chose to go down to 1st. This is my second year here again. Ahhhh. That is my teaching story.

Apparently I have to get my School Board in order. I thought I had a handle on it. :)
